Knitters across Kingston are being invited to knit and raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis trust, in a bid to make legwarmers for trampolinists.
Trampoline supplier Super Tramp has joined forces with knitwear designer, Rebecca Peach. for the scheme.
The idea is for people to knit legwarmers, and then sell them online.
People who have knitted before can take up the challenge with the help of free patterns on www.supertramp.co.uk.
It's also a chance for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to highlight the health benefits of bouncing for CF sufferers.
Senior Corporate and Trust Fundraising Manager for the charity, Sue Piper said: "We know that families with children who have CF often use trampolines as a fun way to help them do their daily physio.
Chris added: "The pattern is available from www.supertramp.co.uk and we would like any knitted legwarmers returned by July 30, 2013, so we can get them ready to sell in the run up to Christmas."
Laura Gallagher, who is sponsored by Super Tramp and is a world and European medallist trampolinist, will be helping the company to raise money for the CF Trust.
