Council's temporary shortage of white reusable bags

Due to an 'unusually high' number of requests for the white reusable bags used for the collection of household cardboard, residents are asked to use their green boxes to store card items until more bags become available during the week commencing Monday 14 November.

A spokesperson from the council says that while an order has been placed with their white bag supplier, delivery of the bags has been delayed beyond the council's control.

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we will ensure that all outstanding requests are fulfilled as soon as we take delivery of the bags," the council said.
