HMV in Kingston to be saved?

It seems that HMV in Kingston might not close.

The store, located in Bentalls centre has not been mentioned in a list earmarked for closures.

The record retail store announced that it was going into administration in January.

66 stores across England, Wales and Northern Ireland have been singled out for closure, although no fixed date has been set for the plans.

Administrators have been in talks with restructuring specialist Hilco about taking over the store.

Hilco already owns HMV Canada and have since bought the company's debts.
