Human Race found, John Lunt has taken home the Jane Tomlinson Award for Outstanding Contribution to Triathlon.

John who set up Chessington based, Human Race, 22 years ago has grown the business from 2 events, to being the UK's largest and most diverse mass-participation sports events company.
Back in 1991 when John established Human Race, triathlon
was a much less widespread sport and he has contributed to its growth over the years to the present day where GB has achieved Olympic Gold in the sport.
2012 was also a big year for John as he was Race Director for the Olympic Triathlon in Hyde Park.
John explained: "I am honoured to accept this award from my peers in the triathlon industry,"
"I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working on the Olympic triathlon in 2012 and continuing the Olympic legacy at grass roots level through my work with Human Race." he added.
