Kingston College Hairdressing Apprentice wins Click 'n' Send competition

A Hairdressing Apprentice from Kingston College, Rebecca King has won an award after enter a Click 'n' Send competition.

The competition involved taking a picture of a hairstyle and sending it in to a "Head of the year photographic" draw.

The NVQ L2 student recreated the style in the picture she had sent via her mobile phone and won second place

for the Juniors category. She said: "I was very nervous as there were almost 500 people there and

the talent there was amazing. I prepared and recreated the style before being judged on the floor.

Whilst my style was being judged I was very privileged to meet Lee Stafford."

Sam Aylott, Apprenticeship Course Tutor at Kingston College,said: "We are thrilled that Rebecca did

so well in this event. She's very talented and a real credit to the College."
