John Lumb, Kingston Team Manager, commented, "I'm so pleased for the girls, they've worked really hard. They've been training extremely well this year and put in a lot of hard work and effort, so I'm very pleased for them. The London Youth Games is a great lead up to the British National Championship finals, for which several of the girls have qualified. It gives them a useful gauge of form at this stage of the season, provides a target to train for and above all they enjoy the team approach. Well done to all".
A total of 16 gymnasts from Kingston Trampoline Academy (KTA) competed for four London boroughs in the games including, Wandsworth, Merton and Richmond-upon-Thames. The Balfour Beatty London Youth Games is the largest youth competition in Europe and the largest trampoline team competition in London consisting of 33 London boroughs.
