The Kingston Upon Thames Society, backed by the Friends of Kingston Museum and Heritage Service, are putting together a case against proposals to demolish the Penny School Gallery on Richmond Road, Kingston.

The 185 year old building could be the only example of its kind in Britain but is due to be knocked down as part of plans to extend Kingston College's School of Art and Design.

Planning proposals are available for comment until 12 April and the extension scheme comes before the development control committee on 30 April. You can find out more by clicking : Penny School Gallery, Kingston.
