Police appeal for witnesses following stabbing

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed several times following an altercation on Saturday 21 May.
The incident took place on Eden Street at around 3.30am where, following a confrontation between two parties, a 26 year old male was stabbed repeatedly in front of large numbers of people leaving clubs in the area.
Kingston police said: "Following a confrontation in Eden Street, the victim ran towards Adams Walk.
"At this point the victim was involved in an altercation, resulting in him receiving a number of stab wounds.
"The group then ran from the scene toward Wheatfield Way.
"The man was taken by ambulance to a south London hospital suffering multiple stab wounds to his chest and back."
The victim is in a serious but stable condition in hospital. Police said his injuries were not life threatening.
Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the attack, but as yet no arrests have been made.
