There's always been something of a north/south divide in the Big Smoke, but new figures suggest that it extends as far as the thickness of our wallets, too.

What would you do with a cool £821?
Debt charity Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) says that Londoners south of the river owe an average of £19,951, whereas their northern neighbours owe an average of £19,130 - a difference of £821.
Instead of dwelling on the whys and wherefores of this depressing difference though, KingstonPeople asks, what would you do with a spare £821? Take a holiday? Buy an amazing designer outfit? Or would you save it for a rainy day?

I'm lucky because I don't have any debt but if I did I'd probably use that money to pay it off. Or I'd spend it on First Class flights to visit my family in USA. Economy is rubbish after 7 hours...
