The BBC has released an interactive map and infographic detailing every death on every road in Great Britain from 1999 to 2010.

Over 36,000 people died on UK roads during this period, and there were 373,000 reports of serious injuries and 2.8 million instances of 'light injuries'.

In addition to specific statistics on variables like rush hour, motorways, pedestrians and cyclists, users can enter their postcode to reveal specific data on accidents in their local area.

According to the map, 35 people lost their lives on Kingston's roads between 1999 and 2010.
