X marks the spot for Kingston's top talent

If think you've got the X Factor to wow Kingston's shoppers this Christmas there's still time to join our exciting search for the borough's best performers.

A wide range of singers, dancers and other acts have already entered the Kingston Spotlight competition which is being organised by Kingstonfirst, the place-management organisation for the Town Centre.

But there is still an opportunity for you to join them and showcase your talents to shoppers in prestigious Town Centre locations during the run-up to Christmas.

As well as singers and dancers, we are looking for something that little bit different so whether you are a poet, a theatre group or a novelty act, get in touch.

Any age or talent will be welcomed as Kingstonfirst shines its spotlight on the best the Royal Borough has to offer.

Ros Morgan, chief executive of Kingstonfirst, said: "We are excited by the quality and diversity of the acts we already have lined up but we know there are many more talented people out there who can take this unique opportunity to showcase their talent.

"There is always a special feel around the streets of Kingston in the run-up to Christmas but the Kingston Spotlight competition is set to make this year's Christmas one to remember."

Get in quick – entries need to be received by the end of October and this is an opportunity not to be missed.

The Kingston Spotlight is part of Kingstonfirst's big programme of events in the run-up to Christmas which include the town's big traditional Christmas Lights Switch On on Thursday, November 15th.
