There's only a week left for people to enjoy a successful run of an art exhibition showcasing Kingston's history of aviation.

Over twenty artists have contributed to a gallery at Kingston museum displaying a-hundred years of Sopwith aircraft in Kingston.

Aircraft shown in the paintings include Sopwith Triplanes and Camels, Hawker Hurricanes and Hawker Hunter jet fighters through to Harrier "jump jets" and the Hawk advanced trainers of the Red Arrows.

In the Museum downstairs there is unique display of models of these and many more aircraft designed and built in Kingston.

Kingston Museum is on Wheatfield Way next to the library and the Fairfield in central Kingston.

Open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays to 12th January.
