Help Sainsbury's Sury Basin and Kingston stores fight food poverty in the UK on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th October 2012 in aid of FareShare's 1 Million Meal Appeal!

Over this weekend customers can donate items of long-life foods such as dried pasta, pasta sauces, rice, tinned goods, tea and instant coffee.
FareShare, a national charity fighting hunger and food waste in the UK will distribute these items to over 700 charities across the UK!
 
Customers will be handed out a leaflet with a list of items they can donate and they can drop these off at the front of the store after they have been through the checkouts.
 
Thanks to the generosity of our customers, last year around 6000 meals were distributed to people in need. So please help us make this another successful year with FareShare
