Richmond and Kingston Councils have launched a draft planning brief for the development of Latchmere Prison in Ham.
The planning brief requires any development to abide by certain rules, including the creation of residential led mixed use that respects character and heritage of the area.
It also has be of a high standard of design with an emphasis on open space and landscaping; enhance the existing network of green space and provides appropriate community facilities on site.
A consultation event takes place on Wednesday 30 January from 6pm at Tiffin Girls School, Richmond Road, Kingston upon Thames with opportunity to view display materials and hear from Council representatives and the Consultants who have prepared the brief.

The planning brief will also be available to see at Tudor Road Library (usual opening hours), the Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, and at Guildhall, High Street, Kingston.
