This year's Summer Reading Challenge in Kingston Libraries is called "Space Hop".

Children  from babies upwards are invited to help the young crew of the Ex Libris set up the first library on the

Moon.

To get your child involved in the challenge all you need to do is pop along to a Kingston Library and  staff will enrol them.  Each child that takes part will receive a certificate and they can also collect rewards such as Space Mungler trump cards. If the child reads or listens to 6 or more books they will be entered into a prize draw.

There is also a Space Hop website for this years challenge which has activities, games, summer time blogs from authors and online advice from library staff.
