With New Year 2011 just around the corner deciding where to go to celebrate in Kingston is a dilemma, so I've got in touch with some pubs, clubs and other venues to see how they can help you celebrate the New Year.
For starters Tamesis is having DJs from 8pm-3am so you can dance the night away. And what's more entry is FREE!
The Boaters Inn for those who don't want to go into the Town Centre is also FREE They will be having a band playing and fancy dress.
However they couldn't yet tell me the theme. They are open 8-late as well.
For those who like clubbing Mcclusky's and Oceana are having New Years Eve Party Nights. Mcclusky tickets sell out quickly and if you
are quick you can get a ticket on a buy one get one free deal. Oceana's tickets are 30% cheaper if you buy them online.
If you are into alternative music then The Hipprodrome is hosting New Slang. Tickets are available via Banquet Records. The Fighting Cocks on Old London Road are having a big New Years Eve party. They are still sorting out their line up.
If you like restaurants then Frere Jacques in Charter Quay are offering dinner and dancing from 8pm. There is a 5 course dinner menu
and if you book by 21st December you get a discount.
If you happen to be a wake on the 1st you can pop down to Woody's for an All Aay Brunch to refuel. While they aren't open on 31st December they are open on 1st January.
A lot of venues still haven't decided the final details for their New Years Eve celebrations, so expect updates.
