It’s

back to work in Kingston after the summer holidays.  With the kids back

to school  and many people getting back into their exercise regimes,  I

had a look round Kingston to see what well-being, energising and

relaxation treatments are on offer.

If

you are into Spa treatments then the Filiz Spa on the third floor of

Bentalls offers facials, massages, spa and beauty treatments, as well as

manicures, pedicures and hair treatments. To book an appointment call

020 8546 7313.

Kingston

Physiotherapy offers,  amongst other services,  pre- and post sports

massage  and electrotherapy to decrease muscle soreness and increase

performance. I have contacted  Mika before and they were helpful in

getting me back on track.

Lots

of people suffer back pain due to postural problems and Spinal Joint

offers many services to help solve it including osteopathic and

chiropractic medicine. They are also the only place in Kingston that I

have found that offers training in the Alexander Technique, which allows

you to retrain your body to get rid of joint and muscle problems.

Spinal

Joint takes a holistic approach to treatment so Brook Robinson will see

cyclists on their bikes to find out how their posture can be improved

when riding. The centre also has a nutritionist and an allergy

specialist to ensure you are fully fit.

Yoga classes in small groups are offered at Body Works Physio, as well as one-to-one Pilates sessions and aromatherapy.

Jane

Fraser at the Shiva Health Centre is an Acupuncture specialist uses the

treatment to increase relaxation, energy and well-being.

Finally

If you want to try your hand at Art Therapy then Lee Campbell, a

Creative Art Coach, takes  sessions which enables you to increase your

motivation, confidence and positivity.
