World Book Night In KIngston

On Saturday 5th March Kingston Library will be celebrating World Book Night.

The library will be open in the evening from 18.30-21.00 with the chance to pick up a free book as part of the "World Book Night Great Book Giveaway".  There will be music by The Tiffinians and live poetry performances from Rhythm and Muse.

While the free book give away has caused some controversy, it's a good chance to show your support for the local library services in the time of extensive Kingston Council budget cuts. 

Come along and show your support by either joining on the night (bring a proof of address with you), or by borrowing books.
