Find out who is honoured in Kingston

The 2013 Queen's New Year's Honours list has been dominated by Olympians and Paralympians, however members of Kingston community have managed to land themselves an accolade.

Councillor David Fraser has been made an MBE for his services to Health and the community.

He joins the likes of prison officer, Tony Boden from Feltham Young Offenders institute, who has also been given an MBE for his services HM prisons.

Former councillor Doug Reynolds was made an MBE for his services to the community as well.  

A British Empire Medal was awarded to Bob Bushell, who is the district president of the Royal Kingston Scout Group.

An 85-year-old has also been honoured for being Kingston's longest serving councillor.  

Councillor David Fraser, was elected in 1984 and also stands as the chairman of the New Malden branch of Arthritis care and is a member of the Kingston Association for the blind.
