Are You Part Of London’s North South Divide?

According to a poll carried out by CultureLine those who live in Kingston and other areas in South London are twice as likely as North Londoners to cross the river for cultural events.

The River Thames From Kingston Railway Bridge.
North Londoners claimed in the poll that down here, South of the River, we have less cultural attractions. (Though as they don’t come here how would they know?) However while the poll revealed that North Londoners rated Eating Out as one of their top interests it also revealed that South Londoners had more varied and adventurous cultural tastes.
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, urges Londoners to cross the divide. He said:
“North or south, I urge Londoners to cross the great divide and discover the rich cultural treasures, cuisines and dialects to be found on the other side of the river. London Overground is opening up the capital like never before, making it even easier to get to know our trans-Thames neighbours and discover the gems of the city.”
What do you think? Do you think Kingston and South London has enough cultural attractions? Or should we be glad we don’t have more North Londoners visiting us? Tell Kingstonpeople.
