"The Most Child Friendly Restaurant in Kingston".

Carluccio’s in Charter Quay, by
the river, is an authentic Italian café that remains true to the ethos of
original owners Antonio and Priscilla Carluccio. Although part of a chain, this
particular branch has a picturesque location and feels very much like an independent
restaurant. The delicious Italian cuisine is reasonably priced and perfect for
a relaxing day with the family by the riverside. There is a wide range of food listed
on the menus, and if you haven’t found what you’re looking for, there is bound
to be something that will satisfy your taste buds on the specials board. The restaurant
is very child friendly and for this reason I would not recommend couples on a
romantic evening meal to dine here! However the facilities available for the
children are very good, such as children’s menu, changing toilets, high chairs,
crayons and colouring books, which helps to keep your children entertained for
the duration of the meal.
A very prestigious location overlooking the river Thames,
which is perfect in the summer when the glass doors are opened and you can eat
your meal outside. Staff are friendly and pleasant, however service can be
slow, as the restaurant is so busy and usually you need to book a table before
you arrive. Carluccio’s is a restaurant where you take your time to savour the
food, and is unlike fast food chains and is therefore not the place for quick
meals. Another bonus to this restaurant is that if you can’t get enough of the
dish you have just eaten, you can buy the recipe book from the deli shop including
most of the ingredients. The only down side is that ingredients can be a bit
pricey, but you are paying for the better quality product. Carluccio’s is the
perfect resolution to your weekend drama and helps get you and the family away
from the traumas of washing up!
