Hundreds of runners will be taking part in the Kingston Run Challenge on the 20th October. It replaces the RunKinston event after 21 years. The revamp of the event means that relay teams of three runners will take on eight miles each to complete a 24 mile, three lap course in the quickest time possible. There will be team prizes across a whole range of categories including male, female and mixed.

Jess Patterson, who took part in the London 2012 Marathon Event is also taking part, she's said "The last three miles is really fast, so that always makes you feel like you've done really well. Its a really nice run past Hampton court and its well marshalled, the marshalls are always really nice. And because the race is split, you never feel like you're on your own."
As you can see from the map, (Thanks to Human Race) it starts in Kingston Market place, with the majority of the route going up Portsmouth Road.
