"Politicians: They’re all NUMPTIES" says Kingston and Surbitons UKIP Candidate

Which

of us have not in recent months

sat around a table with our mates complaining about the current bunch of politicians

and the state of British politics? They’re

all numpties,

most fiddled

their expenses

and some are even crooks.

Jonathan

Greensted was having such a

conversation with his mates

less than a month ago and now he’s standing as a Parliamentary

Candidate in Kingston & Surbiton Constituency.

Jonathan (40)

retired from his IT and Social Media

business in December and was enjoying

some free time after twenty years of moving

and shaking in private enterprise with

companies such as Microsoft,

Virgin Holidays,

Centrica,

etc. when his mates laid down this

challenge:

"If

you think you could do better, why don’t you stand in the general

election?"

The rest, as they

say, is history. Jonathan looked at the major parties operating in

his local area and decided the UK

Independence Party (UKIP) best

represented his traditional conservative

views and promises to deliver the

referendum on our European Union membership that the other parties have

failed to deliver.

Jonathan contacted

UKIP HQ who introduced him to the chairman of the local UKIP

committee and after a handful of conversations he was selected

by the committee on the 6th

April to stand as their candidate on

the 6th May. Jonathan had exactly one

month to go from zero to hero.

The clock had

started. What can be achieved

in one month compared with a lifetime

in politics for his opponents? Jonathan’s previous experience

working with start-up businesses

has come in very handy – step one, brand

awareness and step two, ask for the business which in this case is asking

for the vote.

In the past two

weeks, Jonathan and his small team of volunteers have been out

leafleting,

meeting local business owners,

station storming

and canvassing

all hours of the day and night.

Last Saturday Jonathan walked solidly

for over 10 hours –

he could have walked the London

Marathon in less time!

This is a classic

Sampson and Goliath story – can one

guy overturn Ed Davey (Libdem) who has been the local MP since 1997

(even his boss, Nick Clegg, wants him out – vote for change) and

out gun the fresh young (32) female Conservative candidate? He

thinks he can.

Jonathan is using

Twitter &

Facebook

to share his campaigning experiences

and connect with potential voters.

Jonathan is also out and about walking

the streets, meeting

publicans and has arranged a series

of meet and greets at local pubs and

bars:

Bar Malden,

New Malden - Mon 26th April,

8-10pm

Druids Head,

Kingston - Tue 27th April,

8-10pm

Broadway

Café Bar, Tolworth - Wed 28th

April, 8-10pm

The

Berrylands, Berrylands – Thu 29th

April, 8-10pm

The

Victoria, Surbiton - Tue 4th

May, 8-10pm

The Oak,

Chessington – Wed 5th

May, 8-10pm

Jonathan is a local

guy who has lived

in the area all his life, his kids attend the local schools and he is

passionate about applying his

entrepreneurial experience to creating

a Greater Kingston & Surbiton

and a GREATER BRITAIN.

If elected,

Jonathan, will shake things up

and fight for local issues in

Westminster. This isn’t a career for

Jonathan – it’s a crusade.

Jonathan strongly

believes in openness

and fairness.

To remain accountable to his constituent, Jonathan, has published

his personal mobile number. If any

constituent has a complaint, needs his help or want to hold him to

account they can ring him directly on 078

0221 6262. Something that none of the

other candidates are prepared to do.

If you believe that

one person can make a difference

– Jonathan needs your support.

Jonathan is not a career politician – he’s doing this for one

reason and one reason only … to create

a Greater Kingston & Surbiton Constituency

and to create a GREATER BRITAIN

for us all.

Jonathan needs at

least twenty thousand votes to win

– if you’re feed up with the current

set of numpty politician – vote for Jonathan so he can shake it up

and pioneer the political reform that is desperately needed in British politics. Tell

everyone you know – we

can do this.

Jonathan is a change

agent – empower him and he’ll

empower you.

Jonathan can be

contacted in the following ways and he urges everyone to get in touch:

Vote for Jonathan because you believe

one person can make a difference, vote for Jonathan as a

protest against the establishment, vote for Jonathan because

you want REAL CHANGE – whatever the reason, your vote

will not be wasted.

When Jonathan gets elected he will

fight for you, fight for your children and fight for

your grandchildren. We all deserve better from

our politicians.

Jonathan’s the new kid on the

block but he’s not wet behind the ears. Let’s see how

the establishment copes with his energy, passion

and entrepreneurial spirit. HE WILL

DELIVER, HE ALWAYS DELIVERS, HE WILL DELIVER FOR YOU.

Hate to pee on your parade Jonathon Greensted but you appear to represent everything Britain now opposes - hence why at elections there is such a low turn-out. I didn't get from the drivel you wrote what idealogy you want us to vote for? You suggest 'traditional conservative views' but aren't you a little too young to be harking about a period long before you were born? It appears you base this ideaology on something you may have read, so in effect you're far right. Any how, what sort of merit is it to boast about 'retiring at 40' when by contrast the rest of us who will have to work till state retirement age and beyond that?. It clearly comes over as being slightly odious you're about a person trying to feather his own nest. You quote a list of companies you have contacts with and clearly these use consultant MPs, so yer...........when you look at this way, MPs offering those sort of services are renumerated as a side income to the present level of Parliamentary pay (65K). So it would appear your so called 'traditional conservative view' (unexplained) is about fat pay for doing bugger all while the real constituency work (quite unattractive unless it involves a photo-shot) will be left to a highly paid administrator who might just be a family member or close friend of yours. I think there is nothing genuine about your message and all your vying for is title and position. And I base that opinion on what you have stated. You claim you're now in politics (two weeks of door knocking and moaning about it) because of a 'bet with mates' - well you'll lose the bet and what a load of rubbish to even think the electorate would buy such twaddle - how conceited of you to think that on the basis of a 'bet' you could ever be elected. And as for UKIP selecting you on that basis and only after a 'handful of conversations' or was it a handful of money that got you selected? The answer doesn't matter because if it is true then UKIP can't be a serious party. Read my story on Ed Davey if you really want to topple this man. You'll learn his campaign on MP expenses is not so squeaky clean. Also, instead of trouting about 10 hours of walking, think of oridinary working lives doing this day in day out for the rest of their working lives (Parking Attendents, junk mail deliverers or a post man!). The only true thing you say is that Ed Davey is a numpty but then it takes one to know one, surely?. So yeah, you're a career politician or should I say a 'chancer' without hope and after perhaps getting no where with any other party selection but you know, all of what you want to do for people, you can already do without having to be elected. You can hold public meetings on any local issue, you can conduct door to door surveys to find out what people want and then petititon these to the council and an MP. You can also hold weekly or monthly surgeries and deal with people's individual problems like housing, the cost of it, its disrepair etc. You can attend any number of public meetings. You can do most of what an MP does except you wouldn't be paid, maybe this is what has stopped you up till now?............so for me because you haven't put a track record up on doing any of this you're a carpet bagger!
