I popped into Seedy Saturday on 6th March before going out with friends to see if I could get some flower seeds.

Outside the Market House there were seed potatoes on offer. Inside there was lots of information on composting, what compost to use for growing different plants and the best way to grow different plants from local gardeners.

I met Lynda from  Kids in the Garden.  A useful local resource that gives information on how to make a garden a more child friendly place for young children to play and stay in.

I also bumped into David from Vital Kingston and found out more about the ArtGym from Transition Towns Kingston.

Finally I swapped some bean seeds to get my calendula seeds with the lovely ladies on the seed exchange before I left.
