While shopping in Kingston, I often pop into Satori Sushi for a healthy lunch. It's not the biggest restaurant in the world but you can sit by the window and watch the goings on in the Bentall Centre, or sit at the conveyor belt and be tempted by the variety of offerings that go by. I love the sushi which is very fresh, and my friend has tried a few of the dishes suitable for vegetarians. Service can be a bit slow but is also friendly. Not the cheapest place to eat in Kingston, but you get what you pay for.

I love Satori Sushi, there is one on the Third Floor of Bentalls Department Store as well as the Rotunda and I often go to both of these restaurants. There is nothing else like it in the area. They have a great range of sushi and hot food too; the dumplings they make are delicious. You can get take-away boxes, which are ideal for lunches. I am not a great lover of sake but I believe they have quite a few different types. The sushi goes round on a conveyer belt and you take the dishes you want, this is traditionally Japanese and offers a really fun and interactive dining experience.
