Kingston
with it’s green spaces and river is a great place to exercise and make
new friends. As well as running and cycling there are many sports on
offer in the area.
Coombe
Wood Tennis Club and Sigi’s Tennis Club are both clubs that cater for
players of all abilities from 4 years of age upwards and have good
social activities for all the family.
Wood Tennis Club, situated opposite Kingston Hospital, runs a singles
ladder and tournaments throughout the year allowing members of all
abilities to play competitive tennis. There
as Sigi's Tennis Club, located near Canbury Park Gardens, allows
competitive players to play in the Surrey LTA Summer league.
Adults who like pleasant walks can join either the Zucchini Walking Club or North
Kingston Hill Walking Club. The Zucchini Walking Club caters for those
who want to stay local and enjoy the nature of Richmond Park. North
Kingston Hill Walking Club is for those who want to do longer walks
either in the nearby Surrey countryside or further afield.
For Golf Lovers Coombe Wood Golf Club, situated near Coombe Wood Tennis club, claims to be the friendliest club in Surrey.
If you want to play cricket Kingston
Left Handers seeks players who are free on Sunday afternoons. All you
have to do to get in the team is turn up. The team, whose current home
ground is the Victoria Recreation Ground, play their away matches around
the South West London and Surrey area.
The
Albany Park Canoe and Sailing Club situated in Albany Mews near
Richmond Road caters for both adults and children above 8 years. More
