    Rush hour traffic outside Kingston station was gridlocked this morning after a gas leak meant that Queen Elizabeth Road was reduced to one lane. The gas repair works meant that buses along Wood Street, Eden Street and Clarence Street were also affected and rush hour traffic in and around Kingston was severely disrupted.     Motorists passing through Ham are being asked to watch out for toads crossing the road. Each year, hundreds of amphibians move from Ham Common to a small section of Church Road to spawn. Around 100 are killed each year by passing cars during mating season.     A man's been taken to hospital after a car hit a set of traffic lights in Kingston last night. A blue Vauxhall Astra overturned at Birkenhead Avenue just before 11pm. A London Ambulance spokesperson said the man was rushed to St Georges in Tooting. The 23-year-old's been treated for arm injuries, and damage to his back. There were no other injuries at the scene.
