    Rush hour traffic outside Kingston station was gridlocked this morning after a gas leak meant that Queen Elizabeth Road was reduced to one lane. The gas repair works meant that buses along Wood Street, Eden Street and Clarence Street were also affected and rush hour traffic in and around Kingston was severely disrupted.     Motorists passing through Ham are being asked to watch out for toads crossing the road. Each year, hundreds of amphibians move from Ham Common to a small section of Church Road to spawn.
